Nice to be here!  I started acoustic guitar at age 14. Wow, that was 43 years ago.  I’ve learned traditional chords, partial capo method, and open chord method through the very popular worship leader, Paul Baloche. The ring finger and pinky rests on the 4th and 3rd strings while the other fingers change the bass according to which chord in the progression you are playing, 1-7.

I moved onto Bass guitar and electric in my mid thirties.  Love them!  However, I put down all the instruments including piano  after a car accident in 2004.

I’ve since picked my music back up this spring and desire to learn this new method hoping to get around more easily.
