Just an answer from experience. If your getting hooked on guitar it's more likely that your going to end up with a few différent ones, so maybe t's just which type you get first. Each have different pro's & con's. For example basic acoustic is great for outdoors camping and the like, no need amps electrics, but not easy above 15th fret as the box gets in way of fingering. A semi hollow gives you more frets and thin box, like a Les Paul style, I've one but usually play it thro my Spark. Then electrics like Fender or Squire tend to be easier to play. Strings usually much closer to frets higher up the neck. Then you can use effects, peddles, loopers and the like.  Can only suggest go to a good guitar shop and try out a variety, see what feels nice to you.

by the way, I've no idea why the text went red, nothing intentional from me.

Thats funny I had my guitar on my lap and instead of typing an answer I strummed a C . Anyhow good day sir , I made the big mistake of buying a guitar on line because of the covid but it only cost me money because the guitar is better than I hoped . Having said that I believe the best way is to go try a pile of diffrent guitars and who knows what you might come up with . Good luck in your search and your journey into guitar !

P.S. Just my 2 c worth .

I agree with the others. I would go to a local store and try out different guitars. Find the one that feels good to you. It's not about what guitar. It's about what you feel comfortable. For example I play various style but my main playing is classical. I tried out 5 guitars withe the same make and model. One of those just felt right.
