Finding it way around. My advice there's only 7 notes that are repeated all along the fretboard at different strings, don't worry about sharps & flats for now. Worth remembering 2 along and 3 up for next octave I'll attach a note plan, but after a while you'll remember A notes, then gradually alphabetic sequence for others.  Oh by the way at B string it's called warp zone just in that case it's 3along.  Example very often you'll play key of A from D string 7 or E from D2. Just when it suits the pitch of the song.

Hope this helps.15069573_Learnnotesontheguitarfretboardquickly.thumb.png.5cdc6cd8f93f6bf2052463fc8252f6fc.png

Hi: Your help in hearing notes: Don't know your age group, but you many remember a film sound of music. In that Julia Andres sings Doe A Deer with the kids on top of a hillside. Suggest Google it & sing along. Of course when you go back to Doe it's next octave. I've got a chart of music keys that you can refer to and see how it relates. Hope it helps, in earlier post you''ll see my fretbd sheet, I keep handy and you may find the 2 string tip in general forum mail helps.1389630019_TableofKeys.jpg.ff32476a22e790bc66f354580dbc40de.jpg  just respond if any good to you.  Alan
