Alan Desmond
Recently was a question (Sept 20) on finding ones way around the fretboard I attached. A diagram. There's simple tip that's worth commit'g to memory to those who don't already know. If you look at strings 2 by 2 ther's. a consistent pattern. Whenever you've a G note (like low E) next string over is C. Thén wherever A) next string over is D.. Then wherever B) next string over is E. Helps for easy locating your note positns, what ur playing and finding your octaves. Then course u know that C follows note B and similar F immediately follows note E. Worth committing to memory as it's very musically pleasing playing the octaves.
Alan Desmond
But don't forget folks always have to consider the warp zone when moving from g to b string, and when you go back the other way. You can refer to the overall fret board map just to confirm.
