Struggling with Hammer Offs, but should I move on?

Technojeff

Question

Currently working my way through Guitar Grid 101, and doing the finger exercises from Bonus 2 phase. I am relatively happy that I have most of the exercises under my fingers and expect speed to develop as I continue to carry them out regularly. In general I feel ready to move forward except in one area…. Hammer offs seem to be a real struggle to me to get the sound levels up on my acoustic guitar. My question is: Should I move on to Bonus 3, whatever that entails and include continued practice of my hammer offs in the hope they will develop further along the way? The alternative is to stay where I am and focus on this further until I get a breakthrough before moving forward. Finally, any hints and tips in this area would be much appreciated.

The good thing about our BTG course is that you can get to a point (most areas) that your OK & understand what you have & need to do. Just practice & come back to it. You will find lots of other areas like that. Maybe you'll see specific tutorials on the web. That's what web's good for.
