Just asking to hopefully get more inspired . How many members her can say that they know the 7 Major Scales by memory ?

Can play them fluently .and seems like second  nature ?

I ask because ,i can play all 7 in any key but having trouble memorizing them.

  Thanks

Think it's a personal thing, may be wrong but my guess is most of us learn the pattern 3 big stretched 2 middle, 2 ring.

I keep the 7 scales picture on the wall just refer to it when needed. Once u select what scale you want to play Ionian, Dorian etc you can just use the knowledge of patt'n.  Hope this helps, it's what I do anyway

Pentatonics is much easier to put to memory, I run through that as part of my daily.  Hope you find this helps. Alan

Alan, Any chance you have the 7 scales picture in a file you could attach? Much appreciated, either way! Thanks!

Yes OK I'll attach. But think you can find it too in Grid Mastery unit. If you look at general conversation area & questions u'll see I've attached few other pics of theory that are worth copy'g & keeping handy.
