I have been involved with music for most of my life, mostly as a singer. I picked up an acoustic to accompany myself leading worship in a church environment. I’ve been leading with guitar (acoustic, electric or bass for 25 years now but still view myself as a beginner for the most part. I use a capo to avoid playing barre chords and would really like to progress into playing in any key and having a grasp of the fretboard and multiple chord voicings to enhance arrangements when playing with others and recording. A dream for me would be gaining the proficiency and freedom to write and record original music for worship and be a blessing to my church and community.
