Breakthrough Guitar
Welcome to the B.B. Blues Mini-Masterclass! You are now in a group of guitar players who love blues, and are serious about making MASSIVE progress FAST! In this post, we're going to go over how everything is going to work. And then, you will introduce yourself to the rest of the group! The Mini-Masterclass is from Friday 12/17 until Sunday 12/19. Each day you'll find the workshop lesson in the "Daily Exercise" section. First, let's cover how to access your lessons and resources: Within your "B.B. Blues Mini-Masterclass group", you'll see 3 sections: General Chat, Daily Exercises, & a Bonus Section. The General Chat is for talking all things guitar, asking questions, and connecting with your fellow guitarists. The Daily Exercises section is where all 3 of the Daily Exercises will be posted. Here is where you can ask questions and talk about the exercises themselves - and even post your own progress for feedback! The Bonus section is where you can find an exclusive "advanced licks" lesson & special backing track to accompany it! Lastly, after your Mini-Masterclass starts, lessons & exercises will be uploaded. That way, you can review as much as you want, and go at your own pace. Now that you know how the community works, go ahead and INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN A REPLY BELOW! You can tell us about your journey so far, what you're looking to accomplish, your favorite guitars and artists, or anything else you want to share! Be sure to login to your forum account in order to download the resources that will be posted. Finally, check back into this group periodically to chat with your fellow members before the Masterclass starts. (Doug will introduce himself shortly before we begin). And keep an eye on your email for any important updates!
Yves Cadieux
Hi! Very interesting! Count me in! I think I am an intermediate guitar player and got more interest in Blues while improvising over backing tracks in the last few months. I was more of a prog rock fan....King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, etc. Younger, I did not like soccer, found it not too interesting to watch, but when I started playing, Wow, it became my favorite sport. I would say the same about Blues now! Looking forward to start next friday! YC
Bob Alou
I’m in! LOVE the blues! Always have. Albert King, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Roy Buchanan, Freddy King, Walter Trout, Joe Bonamassa. Recently learned the solo to Cream’s “Outside Woman Blues”. All pentatonic, but…….love the way E.C. Played it! Never get tired of playing it!

Rick Jones
Hi I'm Rick and a Yuuuuuge blues fan. The first time I saw BB King was in 1985, in college, and freakin' loved his phrasing and tone. The last time I saw him was a couple of years before he passed and he was every bit as enthralling. Thank you for putting this master class on, I can't wait!!
