Self introduction

My first attempts at playing guitar began sometime in the 1970s with a guitar belonging to my sister and involved a complete lack of knowledge of tuning, chords or melody.  However, I liked the sound of the nylon strings and persisted until I found a primer enabling me to begin the study of the aforementioned essentials.  Classical and flamenco were my first influences and remain among my favourite listens.  The fashion for labelling genres of music seems to have passed me by as I just call all of it music and listen to what affects me favourably.  My name is to be taken seriously only by myself and the dark humours which plague me.
