JacksML
Hi, My name is Lyn. I’ve been working on the lessons for a few months now but then took some time off. Now I’ve tuned up my tele and am ready to work on some more breakthroughs. I like forums so I wanted to join. I’ll start by answering the questions. How did you start playing, and what has your journey looked like so far? I started playing singing around the campfire chords 50 years ago and never really got much further with the guitar I picked up banjo, mandolin, fiddle and other instruments but kept coming back to guitar, even took classical lessons which I loved. If we could wave a magic wand, what would you LOVE to be able to do on guitar? FILLS. I would love to be able to backup a singer or solo instrument with chords and fills What does your ultimate dream look like? I don’t really understand this question. Word peace?
Austin Carter
Welcome @JacksML! Thanks for joining. We like forums also, and it's going to be so much easier to connect and build the community here, so I'm happy to see you joined. Over the next few weeks, we expect to gather more members and really take off. The last question has to do with your ultimate dream playing guitar. Everyone is playing for a different reason and everyone is seeking to improve for different reasons. Whatever that reason is, there's a dream scenario you're working towards. What is it? JacksML
Oh, ok. My ultimate dream playing guitar: I am actually living it right now. I play in a Scandinavian folk dancing band. Folk music is my favorite and I always wanted to play in a band for dancers. The virus makes in person work difficult but I still enjoy playing outside.
