Hi everyone - I've just joined

Recommended Posts

I have been playing for quite a while and always striving to discover new ideas and tools.  I have mostly played chords for accompanying myself and have been in some small bands as a vocalist.  I been using scales and patterns for improvising but have reached a limit.  I just did the Guitar Grid 101 and Lead Guitar Lightbulb and found these very helpful in using the fretboard more freely, and was also able to confirm that I have some reasonable playing skills that need direction. My musical taste is quite broad - from jazz to country, blues to pop, etc  While my musical taste is broad, my guitar playing has been quite stuck. I like the idea of being able to move between playing rhythm and lead and that's what I am looking forward to getting a handle on.
