Pentatonic Scales

Hi!

I would suggest you have a look at the Pentatonic Fluency course, it should give clear answers to all of your questions on Pentatonic scales, both major and minor as well as show you how to use them in any key and anywhere on the neck.

Basically, Pentatonic scales are just 5 notes scales instead of the seven notes of the regular major and minor scales.

If you do not have access to this course then specify in a subsequent post and we will try to help you out!

That course rocks.  When you go through it, make sure you take the time to go back and forth between the shapes.  After shape 5 (where it starts) then memorize shape 1.  Go back and forth between the shapes so you learn how they mesh on the fretboard.  Once you're done all 5 shapes, you can "see" them there and just go in and out of each shape to a new area of the fretboard.  Works great!
