guitarhacker
I've been playing for roughly 60 years, ever since my parents bought me a gigantic Sears Silvertone archtop, with painted-on fret markers. I've never devoted the time I should to become proficient - for most of that 60 years, I strummed cowboy chords and tried to learn folk, blues and rock songs. In the last decade or two, I've finally moved off the open chords, delved into CAGED and pentatonics and tried to make sense of it all. I play in a very loosely organized garage band, bass, mostly - but guitar is my main interest. What would I really like to learn? Fingerstyle acoustic blues. I'm retired, and really have no excuse for not devoting the time to it. Maybe tomorrow...
