hi im fairly new to guitar scales learnt the first 4 patterns major using 3 notes a line 7 positions then the stacking of patterns big stretch middle ring finger pattern all good info but when i look around the most common major pattern is the 2note pattern in 5 positions which becomes a different set up .being the most common major pattern 2 note 5 positions how come you dont teach this and prefer 3note 7 positions thanks Mark

Hi Mark, 

We do, please see Pentatonic Fluency.

We do it in a way differently than everyone else, where the whole fretboard makes sense- including with the 7 positions.

When you complete Pentatonic Fluency, it will all make sense together.
