My question is as we are working through the scales, every 7 notes we change Octaves right? For example, going through scale one, on the 8th note we start a new Octave, but what is the key each new 7 note pattern is in? The one we started with such as G orA on string one?
I was also wondering if you had a chart that had all  patterns on it so I could see the overlaps better and really be able to improvise on the neck?
Thank you,

Also note that at every C, it is the exact same pattern as it is from the low E string...three big stretches, two middle finger patterns, two ring finger patterns (3BS, 2 MF, 2 RF) with the root note of the octave (C in this case) starting on the 2nd big stretch such that pattern 1 on C starts with 2 big stretches.  Just account for the warp zone on strings B and high E

Thanks for the fast response and clarification too. I got to thinking about it when playing those circular scales and some of the notes overlapped with other patterns at the bottom. Thanks for the fretboard  layout too Craig. I am a super newbie.

I was also wondering if anyone knows if there is somewhere on the site, or has any advice on picking the right strings. I am very poor because I watch the left hand to follow the patterns, but my right hand is always a string off up or down.

Thanks for everyone's help.
