Roger Bostwick
I’m an old guy who favors rock n roll with a heavy blues influence. I prefer bands and music that incorporates piano, sax, and violin along with the guitars, bass, drums etc. My personal favorites include Springsteen, Tom Petty/ Mike Campbell, Dire Straits (Knopfler) Creedence (Fogerty) Bob Seger, Grand Funk, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, and someone who’s music is near and dear to me because he’s a Cleveland boy who just recently passed away ( same age as me), and who’s career I have followed since we were both in high school, Michael Stanley. He is a Cleveland music icon, and if you’re an old rock n roller like me and haven’t been introduced to his music, you don’t know what you’re missing! For me, his music can be categorized into two eras, MSB (Michael Stanley Band) and his solo career post MSB . In my opinion, his music and career aged like a fine wine, and I would encourage anyone to check out his mucic!
Fred Soukup
Listened a lot to MSB Growing up in Cleveland always enjoyed his music. Not only his time with MSB but as a Solo Artist as well. He was truly a great entertainer and was genuinely a terrific human being as well.
