Hammer
Kia Ora, from little ole New Zealand. my name is Hammer I am 57 years old I have been playing a guitar for around 50 + years. I don’t know how to read music, I don’t know any scales, I don’t know the chords names and have just learned to play, either by following along with other players, or mostly by ear. I am passionate about my guitar playing and love nothing more than to pick it up and play with confidence, ease and really just to have fun especially with friends and Family. I am willing to do wot ever it takes to become a better guitarist, I believe that I have been given an awesome opportunity, the tools, and a positive community who can help us all through this journey together!!!! Thanks Breakthrough guitar for the new begining into becoming a better guitarist. your humbled student Hammer
Fred Soukup
@HammerWelcome, I too have been playing for 50 + years and have had the joy of relearning how to play guitar from BTG. Follow the courses step by step without skipping and you will have immense progress and have a lot of fun. At least I did. Fred 🎸
Lightfoot
Another "old school" guitarist. Welcome. I too, like Fred, have been playing for 50 + years, and like yourself, I learned from the "school of hard knocks". But this course has strengthened my resolve to master this instrument. Never give up, even if it sometimes gets frustrating. Post here in the community, ask questions, get positive feedback........etc. Works for me and I'm 60.
